Rated 2 out of 5 by NanaK from Not a full 36 months This Care Pack was purchased with a computer that has not shipped yet. As of this morning, it was just starting the build process. The date on the Care Pack does not reflect the date of the computer. I have seen this before. I have a custom configuration computer from last spring that took over 2 months to be delivered.. However, the date on the Care Pack was the date the Care Pack was delivered - an email the day after I ordered the computer. After finally got my computer, I asked to have the warranty date changed and was told no. So, I actually have only 34 months protection. In the case of the newest one (for a family member), the computer is still in the build state and not expected to be delivered for another 3 weeks, assuming it is not held up in customs as was the last one. My Care Pack will again not be a full 3 years. Furthermore, how does one rate an extended warranty until it is needed. Having said all that, I do believe in purchasing the Care Pack from HP.

I bought it to use for college and it is only lasting about 2 hours. It said it would last 8 hours, but when I contacted support they told me that it only last 8 hours when it is not in use.

I have not received any of the laptops, so being asked to review a product for laptops that I haven’t received is frustrating. However, support from HP has been has been good so far and I hope that continues over the three years that the protection product covers.

However I was so disappointed that they did not deliver a copy of it to my email. I checked trash spam etc. I called a couple of weeks and to get a duplicate copy of it. I finally registered it and I was suppose to get confirmation of the registration which I never did as well. So here I sit waiting for a copy of the HP care packet and also confirmation that I did register it online. If I need to use it I just don't want them telling me oh we don't have your registration for it. I realize that there more important things out there with corona virus then a silly computer thing such as this. I also realize things are much slower now. I am fortunate that I do not have the virus than to worry about the pc which I am so grateful for but right now I would like to straighten this out. Other than that I am assuming the care packet will work well as it has in the past

Hello! I am currently under warranty, however, it expires 07/07/2023. I want to extend my coverage, but I am confused. does the coverge begin the day I purchase the protection?

If I were to buy this plan, would my new pc be able to be repaired if, for instance, I were to accidentally scratch the screen? If it's still technically functioning, would that disqualify it from being repaired?
