I purchased this printer as gift for a friend who lives in small apartment with limited space for computer equipment. She is thrilled with it as her budget wouldn't permit her to make such a purchase. I was informed by an HP sales support person that I can use my existing supply of HP #65 print cartridge with an ENVY 6055e. Is that correct? It appears the ENVY6055e uses a HP #67 print cartridge.

I have an old HP envy 5660 series and I can't seem to get it to work with my computer. Do I just need to purchase a new one like the HP envy 6055e? And how difficult will it be to hookup to my computer?

The HP ENVY 6055e would be missing some of the features that the 5660 had such as the screen on the printer and the photo tray. The ENVY Inspire 7255e has a touchscreen on the printer and a photo tray.

Hello. Thanks for your question. There is no optional photo paper tray for this HP Envy 6055e printer. You can use the paper tray to print on the paper tray. You would need to remove the existing paper. Then, put in the photo paper with the printable side faced down. And you would also want to be sure the paper guides are almost snug to the photo paper. We recommend using HP Everyday, HP Advanced, or HP Premium Plus photo paper. There are various sizes available on HP's website under the Printer, then Paper link. How many black & white pages should I be able to print from a single black-ink cartridge?
Thank you for your question! The standard size HP 67 black ink cartridge has up to 120-page yield and the HP 67XL black cartridge has up to 240-page yield. The actual yield will vary depending upon the amount of content on the page. Highly "dense" documents may yield fewer pages than the ISO standard, while less dense ones would yield more pages than the standard. Printing that uses primarily one color could cause lower yields for that color, and higher yields for colors not heavily used. The yield you experience will depend upon the content that you print.
