I love this printer!
This printer is so easy and efficient!
The print is super sharp and clear and sending print jobs to the printer remotely is easy. Even when I am upstairs I can send a document to the printer and it works perfectly. The other day the printer got offline and it was so easy to get it back online and working, even though I really had no idea what I was doing. The phone app and computer app makes the process very simple.
If you want a great printer that is simple to set up and use, then this is the printer you want.

Awesome printer that is multipurpose!
We needed a multi purpose printer that could print at a high speed, good quality and be cheap given that me and my husband do a lot of printing at home and thus needed to bring down costs. We also had to replace our current inefficient printer. I tried this laserjet from HP and frankly was pleasantly surprised with the world class print quality, speed that brought down the overall costs to us. I create a number of creative projects for work as well as with my 6 year old and this printer has been a life saver. I just wish that it could do color. I would highly recommend this as an addition to your home office!

This rock solid little printer is great for everyday tasks like reports, homework or online coloring pages for kids and adults. Amazing printing in a small package
I was in disbelief when i got the package. I didn't think this could possibly be the printer. After unpacking I was amazed at the size and quality of this printer. It fits almost anywhere, even in a tight office. Setup was super easy with it's own mobile app. Prints as good or better than any other laser printer I've ever owned at a fraction of the size and cost. This is the perfect printer if you print a lot of pages as the printer is quick and accurate. Even if you only print occasionally, the fact that it's a laser means you don't have to worry about ink drying up or clogging. The copying and scanning are quick and very high quality. Just the right size flatbed for what you would normally need. All in all I think this is a great black & white printer for any home or small business.

I was looking for a all in one high speed and quality solution and was pleasantly surprised with this high quality printer from HP. I have been surprised with the high speed yet not compromising on quality for print, or copy. The paper doesn't jam and the integration with the app increases the value proposition and improves the ease of use. I have already recommended it to a number of friends and family.

Excellent for copying, scanning and printing!!
I love how this HP LaserJet M139 printer was easy to set up and use almost right out of the box after following the detailed instructions on how to place the ink cartridge inside the printer. This printer was very easy to set up with the HP Smart app to print black and white documents from either my phone or pc’s WiFi. The Easy ID copying for placing both sides of the ID cards onto one side of paper is very useful! The paper tray can handle up to 150 sheets and print up to 19 ppm which I found very impressive when printing out all my school assignments. The black and white only ink I feel should save me from having to spend more on color ink, which I don’t use. The compact design helps me save work space while still having a professional appearance.

Sharp and Quick like a Razor
Recently I have needed to print, adjust and reprint some work related technical documents and the ability to quickly produce extremely sharp prints without worrying about things like ink levels have been a blessing. This is a great convenience for a small business or a household with students that need to print often.
The size is also great, it's smaller than two shoe boxes and much smaller than any previous printer we have ever owned. Setup is a breeze as the HP app has extremely well designed step by step animated graphical guides that are specific to the individual model. Scanning and copying are also a breeze, and copying is also possible entirely on the printer with the controls and display on the unit.
Overall, this is a great investment if you need to print a decent amount of black and white pages and are always running out of ink on inkjet printers.

I may print a dozen pages a year....
I purchased this HP LJ M140w printer but use it only occasionally because I rarely print anything unless absolutely necessary. I may print a dozen pages a year, if that, so I require the printer to work without issues, but it will never support a busy duty cycle. Half the time I turn on the printer to run a page, it jams, requiring that I shut down and start it again. Why? The paper feed is full. The catch tray is extended. HP Support is no help. Sure, I know it's an inexpensive printer, but I rarely use it, so I expect it to work every time -- frustrating.

Best Bang for your Buck!
The LaserJet M139w has one of the best user experiences I have experienced with a printer. It is seamlessly set up with the HP Smart app and is ready to go within minutes. I have not had a good experience with wireless printers in the past, but the HP was quick and easy. There is also a wireless self-reset easily accessible if it does end up posing a problem which is a nice touch.
Testing the print, copy and scan functions I couldn't think of anything that I was unhappy with. The quality of the prints are very good and the scan and copy function are extremely quick. The HP Smart app allows for you to run the printer through your phone which increases accessibility and makes it really easy to print documents on the go. The on printer interface is also very easy to use and the LCD is easy to understand.
The printer came with 6 months worth of ink which is a nice touch, although the ink is pretty inexpensive which is a major plus.
Overall I would definitely recommend this printer for anyone needing primarily black and white applications. You get all the features of more expensive printers in a compact and inexpensive package.

This is the first LaserJet printer that I have ever owned. I have used them in the past. I'm very impressed by this machine. It is small and sleek and definitely gets the job done.
Printing is very quick as well as the copy and scan features. A small LCD display will show you what is going on. The set up was simple and quick. And get this. You download the mobile app and can print from there. Very cool. It is Wi-Fi based too.
The printer takes Black and white toner only. It won't smear if it gets wet. The cost is a lot cheaper than ink cartridges. I like this printer and am pleased with it. I would recommend it to everyone.

This LaserJet M139w is a small printer but it's very fast and efficient. It can scan for copies or even IDs. The print job I did was done in seconds. It was really easy to sit up with the HP app. Followed the instructions and was done within a few minutes. Even completed a print from my phone. Super easy!

Love this compact Laser printer
I have been wanting a printer that prints more clear, crisp lines, so decided to get a laser printer. I am very impressed with the LaserJet M139w because it's the same size as my previous deskjet! Printing-wise though, it is infinitely smoother, faster and cleaner. I really love it!
Set up was simple using the HP smart app. I was connected via bluetooth and up and running within 10 minutes. Looking forward to being able to print from my computer and my phone anywhere in the house.

LaserJet M139W Review!
So I was recently given a chance to check out this LaserJet M139W! First of all, it's small in size and not too bulky. Secondly, it was an easy setup. I just downloaded the app on my phone and was able to connect to it easily. After that, I was able to connect it to my PC with no issues. So how did it perform?
It actually printed right away and it was laser fast. There is a slight noise to it but you get used to it with these printers. I was hoping to get the colored version, but this black and white one will more than do the job! I would highly recommend this printer! Well worth the money!
Anyway, back to printing. :) I give it 5 stars for ease of use and lightning quick printing!

Easy and beautiful
I love the HP Laser Jet MFP M139w.
It only took a few minutes out of the box to set it up on both my computer and my phone. In fact, it was so easy I almost made it difficult thinking I needed to do more. It is also a beautiful looking printer that fits in wonderfully in my office.
It connects with both my laptop and phone seamlessly and I can print from anywhere in my office or house. The print quality and speed is superb!
The HP smart app makes connecting and printing as easy as pie!

Compact printer with a ton of features!
The LaserJet M139w printer is perfect for any home, large or small! It came packaged pretty securely and the manual was pretty straightforward.
I live in an apartment and this printer doesn't take up much space which I like. It also doesn't weigh much either! I also like how everything can pretty much fold into itself. The print speed is indeed very quick, which is perfect for me when I'm on the go and have to do some last minute printing! I frequently have to print out shipping labels and being able to print it from my phone is a plus. The printer is pretty quiet too and no bright screens which means no weird light shining in the middle of the night while I'm sleeping.
The only thing I'm not too fond of is how you have to download an app on each mobile phone to print pages from that device, rather than just being connected to the wifi and printing from that. However, the app itself is very user-friendly and easy to use!
You also just need to keep in mind that the printer prints on the page facing up, but I actually like that feature better.
All in all, this is a great printer for home (or probably even small business) needs!

Very dependable and sturdy
I love love love this HP Laser Jet M139W its easy to set up and sturdy no flimsy parts that hangs. The wireless capability is really a big plus because I mainly work on my tablet at home. The printouts are very clear. It also work seamlessly with my tablet, my PC, and of course my phone! I dont have any cons this printer is truly amazing! This will be perfect for tax forms, kids projects, banking documents and more office stuff!

Easy set up, fast print!
We got the box, it was small and compact! I used my daughter table (it was nearby when I set the printer box down) to set it up because I was excited to open it and her small desk was there perfect size for it!! Following the set up directions, it was short and easy. The set up was done quicker than I expected. I download the app and was able to use the printer right away from my phone! It so convenient. I’m highly impressed (did not need to connect to laptop or desktop). The printer printed fast, didn’t have to wait for it to think/connect too long. I am happy with the printer!

I Think I Have a New Best Friend
As a writer, ink gets expensive. Imagine my joy to get a printer that not only handles bulk like a champion and doesn't eat through ink, but includes free ink for six months? This thing is seriously a writer's best friend. The quality of my prints have been sharp and precise with no complaints. Set up was super user-friendly and easy to manage (and I would say it would be the same even for people who aren't as computer savvy). The scanning and copy feature is an added bonus to me that makes everyday life a little bit easier, and again, quality doesn't disappoint.
I have been skeptical to purchase from HP for a long time - but I'm happy to say that this printer was a more than pleasant surprise. It's durable, user-friendly, multi-function and gets the job done without much fuss. I honestly don't know of any other company that offers such a deal with ink either. You can tell HP is proud of this product, and for a good reason.
If you're someone who prints things regularly for school, work, a writing project, or just because - do yourself a favor and invest in this. You won't be disappointed.

Great simi wireless B/W printer
I am impressed by the fast printing power and small size of this printer, I'm used to printers being bulkier and with many wires, but this new HP printer is wireless (just power cord) just get the HP Smart App And print away! It is super convenient that the HP printer app has all kinds of options such as printing premade pictures for coloring, greetings cards etc, it is very easy to use.
I would say the only drawback is that it's limited to black and white printing, and unless you plan to print in color this is a great addition to any home.

Support assistance is terrible.
Unable to tell if product is good, bad or otherwise. It stopped working after sending a couple of print jobs to it. The BIG problem is I have yet to successfully receive any help at getting it to work again from all the on-line assistance I have sought and/or received.

Be prepared to sign up for help, no printer drive disk included---all online.
The startup brochure did not allow for me to find the correct drivers for computer software and this printer, so I wound up paying $300+ for a tech team to make my computer recognize the printer and vice versa.

Is it required that the paper tray to be down whenever I print ? Or is that just to load the paper.
