I’m out $400 and don’t have any monitors
I purchased this as a bundle of 2 monitors, which arrived quickly. However, upon setting them up I noticed a discrepancy in the colors displayed. I tried factory resetting, yet it remained. It was as if one were cool toned and the other warm toned. I called support and they could not determine which was the correct color and suggested exchanging both, assuring me they were available. One would think if an exchange is set up, the stock would be held to complete the exchange, but it wasn’t. Upon seeing that my return arrived back to HP, I waited a few days and didn’t get anything about the new shipment. I was told they may take up to 10 days to assess my return and agree that they need to be replaced and we’re not damaged by me.
Now, I have an email that my order was cancelled at $0, and HP is claiming they returned the full amount to my payment method. Two problems with this 1. I should have monitors, but they said they are out of stock of this model now. 2. it was a gift card that once spent was tossed, so I no longer have it, and I have spoken with 4 representatives over the last 3 days who repeatedly tell me I should call my bank to get my money transferred to a new card. It took 10 minutes to explain to one individual that while it states I paid with a Mastercard, this was a gift card.
The latest message left on my vm from a manager there told me again I should talk to my bank to get this money moved to my bank or go to merchant where it was purchased to ask for a replacement. This is not how gift cards work. I don’t have the card number to even attempt this.
I called again after that message and reiterated to the 4th person that this was a gift card, amazingly she understood what a gift card is, but had to get management involved to find a resolution.
So, I’m out $400 and have no monitors. The customer service is disappointing to say the least. If you make a purchase on a gift card, hold onto it until you are sure everything has arrived and is fully functional.

Easy on the eyes - Easy hook-up - Prompt Delivery
I ordered 2 of these monitors for work. The large clear screens make it easier to read through lines of code without pressing my face against the screen. Set-up was simple & fast. Delivery through Fed-ex was prompt and without issue. I would recommend to a friend.

Screen was delivered with a permanent 1.5 inch mark on it.
My screen came in early but had a inch and a half size mark on the screen that I can see anytime the screen is not lit up bright. Other than that it works well.

what is the difference between the M27f, M27fw and the M27fwa
Hello Alan, the HP M27F is black on the back, the M27fw is white on the back, the M27fwa is white on the back as well but has audio speakers built-in.

Can these montitors be linked together to create a dual screen - linked from my laptop? Also, do they have audio?
Thank you for your question! The HP m27fw monitor is not capable be linked from monitor to monitor. They also do not feature audio inputs or outputs.

I have 1 monitor for my desktop PC that has 1 monitor output, well, actually 3 connectors, but all 3 are on the same video card. What do I need to get 2 monitors connected? I don't want the same image on both, I want more viewing space - side-by-side.
This sounds like you have three video outputs on your PC. If this is the case, just connect the displays, and go into Windows Settings to set your Displays to extended instead of mirrored.
Select Start > Settings > System > Display
In the Multiple Displays section, select an option from the list
Select Extend desktop to this display
Select Keep change

what kind of cabling does this monitor require and is is VESA compatible?
This monitor has one VGA and two HDMI 1.4 ports for display connections. It does come with a VGA cable and HDMI cable as well as the AC cable for power. This monitor is not VESA mount compatible.

Hello, I was wondering how well this setup works for software development on a Macbook?
Thank you for your question! Depending on what series Macbook you have will determine if this is compatible with buying any additional items. More current Macs have DisplayPorts for displays and not HDMI. But purchasing a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter will overcome that obstacle easily and make it compatible.
