It pretty much set itself up and was super easy. Windows 11 took a little getting used to but I like it just fine. It came with a built in optical drive which many don't these days. 5 stars!

Unfortunately right out of the box there were 5 hardware problems with the machine. I had to spend HOURS with HP IT everyday for nearly 1 week, but in the end nothing was able to be resolved. HP sent the machine very quickly and the sales team was able to issue a return and refund very promptly. I still trust HP products and will definitely purchase from them again. 3 stars for the fast delivery and return...0 stars for getting a lemon.

The Power On/Off button needs to be a little more raised as it is almost flush with the main case. Also, it would help if that button were a different color like gray as it is the same color as the case. HP needs to update their specifications on this computer as it comes with a DVD-writer, and an Analog monitor port. Otherwise, this is a great computer for the money.

I searched several other websites and none offered anything close. The computer arrived within a few days. I was able to load all my programs and files and pair with my peripherals within a couple of hours. Everything worked perfectly. My last HP computer was over 13 years old and still worked well, but it was time for a change.

The reliability is a big plus: often reviewers seem to pay a little attention to longevity and reliability of a computer as an important factor in a review. The white color is easy on the eyes and a big help, as it makes it much easier to see plugs and ports on the computer. If using windows 11, I recommend setting it to run with no hibernation, because in this state a monitor may stop detecting the computer, so that the machine must be restarted.

The only drawback is that I asked the HP sales rep. that I wanted at least three HDMI ports so that I could connect three monitors and instead he talked me into getting a universal hub. This was not a good idea. Other than that, the desktop performs as expected and delivers the HP quality that I have been getting over the last 40 years. I have never had a poor experience with HP products, whether they are calculators, printers or computers. The are and have been making products with the highest standards in the industry. If you are considering a desktop with the features that the HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3055xt comes with, then you won't go wrong with this one.

    Does the pc support me putting an internal dvd or blu-ray drive of my own?

    You could replace the HDD with a SSD, but there is not a current build that comes with that setup. This does come with a DVD-RW and an ethernet port.

    I bought the HP TP02-3055xt direct from HP on Aub 7, 2022 and mine came with a dual layer DVD read/write mounted vertically at the upper left side of the front of the case. Inside the case, there is room to add another HDD or similar and there are two open PCIe slots (one the long plug, one the shorter plug)

    This is incorrect.  The ability to utilize two monitors comes from windows.  And yes it will, just one has to be VGA and one HDMI.

    I had the same experience. PC came with Windows 10 Home Edition (64-bit). During the setup the PC upgraded to Windows 11. However, I wanted a clean install. I've had some issues with the Realtek PCIe adapter and loss of internet requiring a restart. After everything is done in setup, the BIOS and Adapter had updates that I only found on https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-tp01-2000i/2100367767/model/2100405249 and had to search specifically for Windows 11 drivers here https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-tp01-2000i/2100367767/model/2100405249. Overall, it's a small footprint desktop with satisfactory performance.
