Works on Chromebook
Needed a second charger for HP Chromebook. The 45W was out of stock and this 65W was on sale. Just received it a couple of days ago and has worked fine so far. I was aware of this when I ordered and was fine with it since it is a backup for me, but be sure to understand that an AC cord that plugs into your wall outlet is not included with this charger, instead it has a block with a folding plug and you plug the transformer into your outlet. I havent had a problem with this so far but this does make the overall length of the charging cable a little shorter than what came with my Chromebook.

Works well--but HP PC doesn't know it's HP product
The form factor is just what I wanted, and it works well. There's one annoyance, though: every time I plug it in to my HP laptop (a recent Envy X360) I get a notification that “HP recommends using an original power adapter from HP”. It doesn't seem to make a difference to the function, but it's a (very slight) hit to my confidence in HP that they haven't configured all their devices with this basic level of recognition. I hope they'll look into this and put out an update to fix it.

Speed Racer!!
I bought my hp 11.6' laptop a little more than a month ago and I absolutely love it! I love its touchscreen feature and OMG It is so fast that I can't believe it. I dont know what kind of processor it has on board but let me tell you...this little laptop can boogie down the cyber highway so fast that I forget its only 11.6 inches. Best purchase I ever made. The picture is crisp & clear, font size is adjustable and did I tell you how fast the lil booger is?! Thank you hp, you really came thru this time...thumbs up!

Not compatible with most power cords
I can’t believe HP found a way to make a power cord not backwards compatible. The plug connection to the wall is a proprietary format that doesn’t allow any other kind of computer power cord to be attached to it. For years I’ve been reusing these power cords and attaching them to the power supplies various computers, this is the first one that isn’t compatible with what was obviously once upon a time a genuine standard. My dock station stopped working. It wouldn't charge through the computer and I had to spend another $40 to get what should have been included with the docking station! Adapter is working fine. Feel like I was cheated; having paid so much for the docking station to begin with.

Doesn't match the photo
The charger works well. However, it does not match the picture, which clearly shows a long cord from the power brick to the outlet. Instead, there's a small adapter that allows you to plug the power brick right into the wall. No long cord included. I feel a bit cheated by this, the only negative part of my buying process with HP. Would I recommend this to a friend? No, not until they change the photo because I don't want to help someone lie.

Wish the cord was longer
I brought this a month ago because I broke my old charger and unfortunately, this new cord is a few feet shorter and unable to connect to the other old charger part that wasn’t damaged, so now when I use this new charger, I feel like I’m right on top of the plug and port. It works efficiently though, just annoying.

This product works great to charge my Spectre laptop, BUT it does not come with a power cord to go from the charger to a wall outlet, as pictured on the website. It comes with a power plug that connects to the charger, which manes the 3" square charge is plugged directly into an outlet, or you can use an extension cord. I alerted HP and suggested they changed the photo on the site as well as the quick start guide that comes in the box with the product. BUT, as a charger it is quick to charge and connects securely to my laptop, something the previous 2 chargers with the C-type connection did not do.

Great and Portable charger
I bought this to carry with me while on campus just in case I needed to plug in. Cord is a bit shorter than the original cord that the laptop comes but it isn't a big deal. Works really well with my new Envy X360 Ryzen 5 Laptop.

Falls out of wall receptacle
2 prong adapter isn't held tightly enough by wall receptacles at home or office to keep adapter plugged in on the wall. Fine on floor receptacles. HP doesn't sell a separate 2 or 3 prong corded plug unit. Fixed by buying a good quality extension cord that allows adapter to lie on floor. Works fine that way.

We returned this product.
We had to return this product. We were told this is the adapter we needed for our HP Spectre 360 laptop. When we plugged it in to charge the error message said it was not strong enough to charge this device. Still waiting for reply from HP which adapter we should buy.

I researched this product, obviously not enough! This was advertised as a 65 watt USB-C laptop charger. That it is. I have a HP Pavilion laptop that comes with a 65 watt charger and a USB-C port. Having both specs match with both components, I thought I should be good to go. Wrong! My bad. It does not. Customer service was great in arranging the return and credit to my account! They were also helpful in providing options to finding an OEM provider. Unfortunately, HP Parts Department does not have the OEM charger available ( I bought this laptop in Feb 2020; started trying to acquire a second charger in April 2020) and the only third party vendor that listed as having this item has not moved on the order in just over a week. Never thought getting a second OEM compatible charger for alternate work spaces/travel would be so difficult.

Looks great
can't try it out, I bought it with my lap top at the same time, I'm still waiting for the lap top.
But looking at this I think it will be great if I can use it with 12volt adapter, I drive truck for a living so I'm forced to use this with a inverter or a cigarette lighter adaptor. So we will see how and what happens

Wonderful Purchase!
I bought this product and it arrived less than a week later. The features included were wonderful. The purchase included an outlet connector which is very convenient. Also, HP included a gift of a bag for empty cartridges to fill and simply place in mailbox for proper disposal. Overall, HP not only cares about the comfort and usability of their products for their customers, they care about the environment! Very impressed and happy I chose to purchase through HP!

Works perfectly
I bought this to replace the original power source for my HP Spectre x360 15 inch, which has loosen when connected and provided power only intermittently. The new one work perfectly to power the computer, an fit snugly into the power port. This was a life-saver for me because I am sequestered in my second home to avoid Covid19, and my only space power supply is in my other home, almost 200 miles away. It arrived very quickly; the interruption in my working online was quite minimal.

Does this come with the wall cord as well? or do I need to buy that? Looks like this is just an adapter for USB-C? I have the charger that came with my HP Spectre x360 14 for my daughter and wanted a second one to keep in her dorm room.
HP Team Grant's answer is misleading.
This product includes ONLY an adapter for plugging the brick directly into an outlet. It does NOT include an actual cord to go between the outlet and the brick. And the USBC cord from the brick to the computer is only about 3 feet long, which means 1) you need enough room on/round the wall outlet to have the brick right there, and 2) the wall outlet needs to be very close to where you want to use the computer.
If you want to use this as replacement/backup for the power cord/adaptor that came with the Spectre x360, you'll probably be sad. I was.
