Great display
The display panel is great, I like the hdmi and DisplayPort options, and the menu is easy to use for changing any setting you’d expect, including turning off the power on led light. The stand is short which is why I gave it 4 stars. It is also plastic which snaps together without any screws so I am not confident in the longevity of the stand. I knew it didn’t have height adjustability, but I wish the stand was higher.

Monitor goes black a few times every day, its hookup to Thunderbolt Docking Station.
The monitor is brand new and hooked up to my HP Docking station thunderbolt. The brand new monitor goes black for a few moments quite a few times a day. It happened to the last monitor I had as well so it has to be a glitch in the HP Thunderbolt docking station. Cannot rate this monitor high since it goes black but my suspicions are its the docking station causing it.

Duel monitor setup for home office
Monitors are large, bright and good refresh rate. They do not have a way to change the settings which could be an issue as they age.

Good Buy for the Price
Bought two monitors for a dual display. They work well together. Had a slight difference in color, but only because one was hooked up as HDMI and the other with a DVI to HDMI converter. Looks great after adjusting. Like the auto sleep feature and overall look of the monitors.

Is there a picture to show what the buttons on the bottom of the monitor do?
1st button on the right is to turn it on. 2nd button is color hues and brightness. 3rd is settings for, COLOR, IMAGE, INPUT, POWER, then menu, management, information and exit. The other 2 buttons is for saving changes etc. I have pictures but can't post them here.

does this monitor have audio like all monitors How can you sell one without sound
Not all monitors come with speakers! Higher quality monitors generally DO NOT have built-in speakers mainly because those speakers would be of lower quality than external speakers and would require design concessions to include them in the body of the monitor resulting in poor performance. Sure you can find plenty of low to mid quality monitors with speakers but these are monitors built with compromises for convenience and not quality. If you want a good monitor, buy a good monitor and some nice speakers to go with it!

I have 3 questions: 1) Is the monitor IPS LED or IPS LCD? 2) What is the power consumption when in use and when idle? 3) Please clarify the total height, INCLUDING the stand. There are conflicting answers in the Q&A.
This HP V24i G5 FHD Monitor is an LCD monitor with a total height of 39.79 cm or 15.67 inches with the stand. The height without the stand is 12.74 inches.
