It's an absolute piece of crap. It takes forever to warm up. It constantly prints out random reports of status pages. It's so bad that I have to physically turn it off between printing jobs. Today it decided to change the language on the screen. I could not possibly hate this printer more!!!

Exceptional Tech Support
When I called to some help coordinating the scanning to my laptop, I found my warranty had expired, so I purchased an extended warranty. As alway, the support I received from HP was great! The agent was patient, explained everything and my problem was solved. I was cursed with Brother printers for years. The smartest hardware decision I ever made was switching to HP.

HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw
I replaced my 20-year old LaserJet 4050N, which was till going strong, However, since I am working from home, I wanted to share between work and home computer. For some reason the 20-year old HP 600N gigabit ethernet card would not work.. I finally replaced with this new printer/fax/scanner. What amazed me is ease of installation. The new printer immediately recognized my network. I shared printer with my work and home PCs. Works great. Very fast!

Great Features!!!
I’m still learning a lot about my new printer but what I’ve learned thus far I love love love. My only complaint is that it does not have a legal size glass for copying long papers.

Product + Documentation + Service
I am pleased with the product but find documentation like hard copy of warranty and Manuals which used to accompany a great product are now lacking and greatly missed. The substitute alternative to seek "live help" from phone service discussion turn into very time consuming calls to technical customer service technicians whose accents are often difficult to understand and or are difficult to slow down in order for a client to ask "in process" questions to elaborate technical explanations. I have also experienced difficulty getting back to the correct "service connection.
