    Rated 4 out of 5 by The Old PC Builder from Solid Business Display With A Great Stand Solid monitor (literally.. I mean it's kind of heavy for a 24", lol) but snapping the monitor into the stand head is a little difficult and awkward. Price is also a tad high for a Full HD (FHD, a.k.a. 1080P) IPS 8-bit non-HDR monitor in 2024 -- just realize a chunk of that extra cost goes into the stand that allows for every kind of tilt, rotation, vertical up/down, even rotating into portrait mode for those processing a lot of documents, etc. There's also two USB 3.0 Type A ports in the back and comes with all every sort of cable: power, VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB 3.0 Type A (plug into PC or dock) to Type B (plug into monitor to bring those two USB Type A ports alive). Lastly, know that there are several variations of the E24 G5, such as ones that are 1920x1200 (E24i), have USB-C (E24u), are touchscreens (E24t), are QHD (2560x1440) (E24q), and more. Some of these variations are available in other sizes, e.g. the E22 models that are 22", though the E24 line has the most variations. The Z models are the top-end ones and Pro sits below Elite.

The size is great for for older people, like me whose vision is not as good as it once was. The stand is excellent as well. Very easy to adjust the height, slides up and down with ease, and holds that position and will not drift. Easy to tilt the angle of view, or rotate the left or right to get it level. For the cost, the features are amazing. The pricing for HP's monitors are the best value, and the selection will cover every person's application, whether it is for the home user, business, or high end gamer. I could go on, but it would take too long. Buy HP monitors if you want a quality product at a more than reasonable price!

It fit my workspace very well. After purchasing the first monitor, I realized that adding another one could enhance my work productivity, which it did. The monitors have a crisp, clear image. With eye ease capability, I can work at my desk for long periods of time without any discomfort, or eye strain. This is a great well-made product and I would highly recommend the monitor.

    is the 5UU40AT HP S101 Sound Bar compatible with this monitor?

    Thank you for your question! The HP S101 SoundBar will not mount to the bottom of this HP E24u. The HP S101 SoundBar is designed for 2017-2019 Essential Displays, HP EliteDisplays, and HP Z Displays.

    At my home desk, I have maximum height clearance of 18". The base for this monitor seems to be adjustable. Can this monitor be adjusted so total height is no more than 18"?

    Three things. 1st, I'm not sure where Grant is getting his info, but if you click on the blue hyper-link on this page, it will bring you to the spec sheet for this specific monitor which says... "Work comfortably with adjustable tilt, height, and swivel settings. Use pivot rotation to conveniently customize portrait or landscape views on multiple monitors" 2nd, I use this specific monitor at work and adjust the height on it based on whether or not I'm using a bench height or normal height office chair. 3rd, this monitor is excellent and the matte screen makes looking at it for hours at a time very easy on the eyes.

    The HP E24m G4 FHD USB-C Conferencing Monitor can charge most laptops, but not all, via the SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (up to 65W USB Power Delivery, Alt Mode DisplayPort™ 1.2) port. Your laptop must have a USB-C port with PowerDeilver and DisplayPort or a Thunderbolt port in order to be compatible.
