Best monitor for work
This monitor is amazing ! The picture is on par with my 27" Imac and I don't see that very often. Text is clear and sharp. Lots of ports. I'm going to get two more next sale to replace my other 2.

Bad Luck?
Unfortunately, after my first spin around the configurations menus, the joystick stopped working. Or should I say, no matter which direction it is pressed, a message appears saying menu options are locked. After troubleshooting with technical support for a couple hours, it was deemed that the button is defective. And, unfortunately for me, I live in Mexico but buy all my electronics in the U.S. because the selection is broader. For example, the U28 is not available in Mexico. To think of the countless hours I spent researching which monitor to buy, choosing the HP because it’s a brand I know and love, and now absolutely no settings can be changed. Sending it back across the border and then paying to get it back into Mexico just isn’t practical. And so I have a very nice looking and rather expensive almost-brick. Very disappointed.

Solid monitor with lots of inputs
Nice monitor I just wish I got the 32” because the text is hard to read. My other 32” text is easy to read. Only reason I selected 28” is I wanted 2 side by side and thought the 32s would be too much. I’d gladly trade them in for 32s.

A good screen.
I am satisfied with this type of screen. It is on par with modern and sophisticated computers. Making good quality videos with UHD or 4k, can be seen with magnificent vision. If you have Windows 11. You can set the text size to 150. And a scale of 200, for a larger view of the lyrics and photos on any web page. But I imagine that everyone will have their own tastes and preferences.

HP in 4K is a beautiful thing
This 4K monitor has exceptional colors and resolution, especially for photo editing. It's also super easy to hook up with extra ports in the back for various USB cords. For example, I have a cord running out the back to charge my phone. The monitor is completely adjustable either up and down or even horizontal to vertical. That is impressive! Another quality product from HP!

Monitor loses connection after 1 hour of use
Monitor keeps losing USB-C connection. We only used this for an hour or two and all of a sudden it loses the connection. Just like a numb of reviewers ha stated I regret purchasing this monitor.

Very disappointed
The web said it was capable of 2560 x 1440 but it does not offer that resolution, it has a 2560 x 1600 I have a HP EliteOne 800 G6 27 inch All-One PC that has a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Pairing two of these HP U28 HDR 28in 4K 60hz displays forced me to use the 2560 x 1600, the resolution is terrible at that setting. I am a HP fan, but this time this is a no win situation. I would welcome anyone that can tell me how to fix this problem or do I just donate these two monitors to charity. I purchased two of these, so I rated these two monitors one star because I like HP, just not these monitors. I would not recommend purchasing these unless you use their recommended 3840 x 2160 setting, it just does not work with my PC.

Never again.
Horrid sales staff misrepresenting alleged "onsite tech" service and other false representations. This is the third HP computer I've purchased in 16 year. I won't make this mistake again.

The panel is 8bit or 8bit+FRC?

The HP U27 could connect wirelessly to a laptop. Can the HP U28 connect wirelessly as well?

Does this monitor display UHD at 50Hz? I have some UHD Samsung Monitors that will only accept UHD at 30 and 60Hz, so need to be sure 50Hz works before purchase.

I have a motherboard which can power the screen through the USB-C upto 35w. Can I power this monitor through the UBB-C concurrently woth the display?
Thank you for your question! The HP U28 4K HDR Monitor draws the power for the display from the included AC adapter. The HP U28 4K HDR Monitor can then keep a laptop charged, if the laptop has the proper USB-C Power Delivery Port, via the built-in USB-C ports. The USB-C ports on the monitor deliver power to other devices.
