USB C (DP1.2, 65W) graphics card required.
Missed the importance of USB C w/r/t resolution and powering the USB peripheral ports. Unfortuantely, my Z6 G4 (with the Nvidia P1000 card) has 4 DP1.4 ports, which are insufficient to fully support this otherwise splendid monitor.

Excellent 4K Monitor

Great picture
I have had this monitor for a couple weeks now and love the picture, the sharpness and clarity is top notch. the passthrough sound is a great feature since i have more than just my pc connected and wanted to use my speakers for all of them without a receiver. the only gripe i have with this monitor is the joystick for the menus is on back. so switching inputs is a pain in the butt. auto input works but only if the device you are using is powered off and then it'll switch to the active device automatically.

Looks great, bright, excellent resolution, vibrant colors, clean stand, nice hook-ups and connections. Only draw back is placement of ports only on back (would have appreciated on side). Also some distortion and buzz on speakers driven through monitor.

Beautiful Monitor
I have owned many different types of monitors for various purposes and I love this monitor! For design and art, the true color capability of the display is unmatched by many of the high end monitors I have owned. The 4K resolution is a huge upgrade to my 1080 displays and made working at my art set up much easier as images are sharper and clearer.

Super-Premium Monitor!
This monitor is a super-premium display that is using the latest technology, AND it looks great, AND it’s priced very competitively. The “HP Eye Care” technology (where blue-light wave lengths are limited) actually works – you’ll be able to tell a difference. The display can also power up via USB-C, which is pretty nice.
The user interface for adjusting settings is great. The display has a small joystick style controller that allows the user to move around the menu screen and adjust a lot of parameters. There are some great factory profiles, and then you can adjust the various parameters to your hearts content.
The picture and resolution is GREAT, not to mention the viewing angle is actually really great as well, due to the IPS technology (In-Plane Switching).
The last thing worth mentioning is the base/stand – this is a super classy set up. It’s a machined aluminum (base plate is solid), and the mounting arm both swivels (left to right) and adjusts height, very easily. You can easily adjust the height and viewing angle, AND easily switch from landscape to portrait orientation – this is the most user friendly and best looking integrated stand I’ve ever seen. And, of course, you can connect to your own stand/arm with standard VESA mounting.
Overall, I highly recommend!!!

Super brilliant!
I'm in love with the hp u28 4k hdr monitor! It has plenty of different inputs so you can connect most devices. Super brilliant picture quality, perfect for gamers! Only downside to this monitor is it doesn't have a built in speaker. But the quality of the picture makes that a non issue for me! If you're looking for a great monitor this is the one I'd recommend for sure!

Great Monitors for a Designer!
I have gone through several '4K HDR' monitors, but have been immensely happy and impressed by the quality of the HP U28s. I'm a designer, illustrator & animator and have been very happy with the output from these monitors.
Do be aware, since these monitors can send power to your laptop through usb c, you can't plug two of the monitors in at a time. Apple set up a kill switch on newer macbooks (the ones with only USB C Connections) so if two or more usb c inputs provide power, it allows the highest voltage one and turns off the other one, meaning you can't see your second monitor. This only applies to the USB-C connection, the work around is to use HDMI instead. Would have been great if HP provided the ability to turn off the power delivery through USB C, but I don't believe any manufacturer has figured that out.

WOW! Amazing Monitor!
This monitor, HP U28 4K HDR Monitor, is beyond words to explain! I am absolutely amazingly impressed and more with this monitor! It has fabulous colors and crispness of the picture on the screen. Its amazing I am just floored by how amazing the colors and crispness of them there is on this monitor. Id highly recommend it to anyone and everyone especially if you are a gamer as this would be your dream monitor! Its amazing and more! It definitely needs to be tried to enjoy the beauty of it!

Great monitor!
This monitor was very easy to assemble. It comes with many different cords and ports to connect to any device you have. The screen size is perfect for wanting to see images at a larger size and the picture quality is pristine. It was very easy to connect my laptop to the monitor and utilize this additional screen while working. The only downfall is that it does not come with a built in speaker. It does, however, have an audio jack to plug your own speakers/headphones into.

Beautiful color and design
I bought the HP U28 4K monitor to use with my new M1 Mac mini. The design is clean, with a small bezel and simple stand, and the color resolution is beautiful. I really like the anti-glare feature and the vertical adjustments, but have not tried rotating it to portrait orientation. I had an issue after a few days that the monitor would not respond when I woke up the computer. After changing the connection from the usb-c cable to the HDMI cable, I have not had the problem again, and I've been using that one for about a month. Not sure if that issue is on the monitor or computer end.

Fantastic Monitor
The second this monitor arrived I swapped it out with my old one. I am in front of the computer for hours on end and my eyes were getting to where they hurt all day long. I felt the difference on my eyes at first look. I am also thrilled that it is a matte finish on the screen and not glossy because I have windows behind me and with matte I don't have to worry about the glare. My mouse moves smoothly over the screen where it was jerky with my old monitor. Highly recommend this monitor I am thinking of getting a second one.

Great preformance!
Have been using this as a replacement for my older monitor and the difference is amazing. Games have crisper details than on my older monitor, even a few older games that I have. Movies and videos display very well too, despite some jerkiness on one movie caused by slow streaming from one of the video services I have. Only disadvantage I had was forgetting to change the size of the text in Windows, since the text size in the monitors native mode is a bit smaller than my older eyes can tolerate... but that was a quick fix .

Great size/screen quality
Overall I would give this monitor a 9.5 out of 10 as far as quality, size, and price are concerned. I underestimated how large the screen would be (it surprised me when I received a rather large box). Putting the monitor together was also way simpler than I would've imagined. It may have taken less than two minutes to assemble. And for such a large screen, it is pretty lightweight, which I feel like is standard for newer TVs/monitors/technology in general. It's also nice that it comes with various different connections, depending on what type of computer/laptop/docking station you're going to connect the monitor to. Personally, I use it as my second screen at work. I have not noticed any drawbacks from this, such as heat. We'll see how durable it is, but I have no reason to believe it will not last.

Best color I have seen!
I've been using this large 4k monitor for about a week and have been very impressed by the quality and color output. I am in the design industry and heavily use photoshop, 3D modeling and rendering software- this monitor puts out amazing color and keeps up with all my challenging graphic needs! The sleek profile allows it to sit on my desk without adding to any clutter, one wish is that the USB connections were located to the side of the screen (instead of centered on the back) for easier access, but that is getting pretty knit-picky! One surprising thing I have noticed is the eye-ease technology has seemed to help! I wear contacts and typically have needed to switch them out for contacts at the end of the day because my eyes are so dry, but that need has been significantly reduced after working in front of this monitor.
The tilt and height adjustments are more than enough, assembly and setup took under 5 minutes, and it came with all the cables I need!

Absolutely Amazing
I received this a few weeks ago and I am completely blown away. It is by far one of the most amazing monitors I have ever had. The resolution is by far the best I have seen. It's very easy to set up and use as well and that's a huge deal for me. I need something that I can unplug and plugin when needed. The colors are so bright and crisp. You can change a bunch of settings from the monitor itself as well which I like. It has a few extra plugs that help free up USB on my computer and I can use it to charge my phone as well! I highly recommend this monitor, especially if you are doing art or photography. It's so amazing I am in awe of it whenever I turn it on!

Excellent monitor!!!
I got this display to try out as a single split screen instead of using a dual monitor setup. It's a great choice. The plug and play settings and ability to tune the display with the available options are a bonus. Very happy with the picture quality and the ability to turn as well as raise and lower the display on the built in stand is a nice touch. The unit also came with display cables so there was nothing extra that I needed to purchase. Definitely recommend this display.

Amazing Picture!
Wow. The picture on this monitor is amazing. I have speakers connected to it and use it for a Tv as well as a computer monitor. My kids have tried their Xbox on it as well and love it. There are plenty of ports for a variety of connection options. Definitely the best monitor I’ve had.

Incredible visuals!
Wow. The visual display quality is amazing. Very happy with this monitor. I work almost exclusively with CAD programs and the definition is exceptional. Large enough screen and easy set-up. There are many display adjustments to get your perfect arrangement.

I have a motherboard which can power the screen through the USB-C upto 35w. Can I power this monitor through the UBB-C concurrently woth the display?

The HP U28 4K HDR Monitor can then keep a laptop charged, if the laptop has the proper USB-C Power Delivery Port, via the built-in USB-C ports. The USB-C ports on the monitor deliver power to other devices.
